I’m Wayne Rengasamy, an award-winning producer, music director, and artist. For nearly three decades, I’ve been shaping gospel music across South Africa and beyond through consistency, discipline, and a standard that does not shift.
For me, music has never been about simply creating. It’s about how the work is approached. My foundation began through piano, singing and music direction, long before production became the focus. That grounding still shapes everything I do today.
Structure, clarity, and intention are not added later. They are part of the process from the beginning. Whether in the studio, on stage or behind the scenes, the goal remains the same. To create something that carries meaning and holds its place over time
In 2009, I stepped into music production, building a body of work across albums, collaborative projects and live environments. Each one approached with the same level of focus and attention to detail.
Recognition has followed through award-winning productions and industry acknowledgment, but the focus has always remained on the work itself. Done properly. Built to last.
Over the years, I’ve built a body of work that includes 10 full-length albums and 5 EPs across a range of gospel artists and projects. My production work began gaining wider recognition in the early 2010s. In 2013, the album Everyday of My Life, which I produced, received Best Newcomer at the Crown Gospel Awards.
That was followed in 2015 with being awarded Best Gospel Producer at the Crown Gospel Awards. In the same year, Channel of Blessing was awarded Best Gospel Album, and I released my debut album, Holy Are You Lord. In 2016, Unashamed by Adrian Singh, which I produced, received both an Ingoma Award and Best Gospel Rock Album at the Crown Gospel Awards. In 2018, my production work with DCC Worship was also awarded Best Gospel Rock Album at the Crown Gospel Awards.
A curated collection of studio productions, live recordings, and collaborative projects, each shaped with intention and a clear understanding of sound.
From full-length albums to live worship environments, the aim has always been to create work that is not only heard but remembered.
My work is available across leading streaming platforms, reaching audiences both locally and internationally. From full-length albums to collaborative releases, each project reflects a commitment to quality across every platform it lives on.

Over the years, I’ve worked alongside respected artists, churches, and organisations, building relationships grounded in consistency and trust.

I work with artists, worship teams and organisations who are intentional about what they’re building. Every project is approached with clarity and structure, shaped according to what it needs to become.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside a wide range of respected gospel artists, both locally and internationally.
These include Shaun P, VaShawn Mitchell, Ron Kenoly, Alvin Slaughter, Michael Bethany, Janine Price, Neville D, Vincent Bones, Khaya Mthethwa, Lloyd Cele, Loyiso Bala, Ernie Smith, and Byron Cage.
Each collaboration has added perspective to the work, shaping not only the outcome but how I continue to approach it.
In an industry that moves quickly, longevity is built through consistency and care
If you’re looking to build something with intention,
I’d be glad to hear more about your project.
